Despite being set in the fictional Nevermore Academy, the se- ries was actually shot in Romania, which provides an authen- tic gothic tone. The school’s exterior is actually Cantacuzino Castle, which overlooks the Carpathian mountains. Bucha- rest appears through different urban locations, while the for- ests of Transylvania enhance the show’s dark atmosphere. In- terestingly, Bran Castle, often associated with Dracula, was not used for the filming, though that doesn’t stop you from vis- iting it anyway.
„Emili u Parizu“ i Pariz / Emily in Paris and Paris Ova serija pretvara Pariz u stilizovanu razglednicu. Emi- lin stan nalazi se na Place de l’Estrapade, gde je i restoran njenog komšije. Poslovni svet vodi nas ka Operi Garnier, dok su Luksemburški vrtovi i obale Sena rezervisani za šet- nje. Među najlepšim kadrovima su Pont Alexandre III i Pala- is Royal. Idealizovan, ali neodoljiv, Pariz ovde živi kroz mo- du, romantiku i svakodnevne male rituale.
This series turns Paris into a stylised postcard. Emily’s apart- ment is located on the Place de l’Estrapade, where her neigh- bour’s restaurant is also located. The world of her work leads us to the Opéra Garnier, while the Luxembourg Gardens and the banks of the Seine are reserved for walks. Among the most beautiful scenes are those that include the Pont Alex- andre III and the Palais Royal. Idealised but irresistible, this Paris lives through fashion, romance and little daily rituals.
