„Beli lotos“ i Sicilija / The White Lotus and Sicily Druga sezona vodi nas na sunčanu Siciliju, gde luk- suz i tenzija idu ruku pod ruku. Glavna lokacija je hotel „San Domenico Palace“, danas deo lanca „Four Sea- sons“, smešten na litici iznad Jonskog mora. Nekadaš- nji manastir iz 14. veka pretvoren je u ekskluzivni hotel koji u seriji postaje gotovo lik za sebe. Taormina sa an- tičkim grčkim teatrom i uskim ulicama često je u kadru, dok Isola Bella donosi razgledničke prizore mora. Baro- kni Noto pojavljuje se u gradskim scenama, a porodič- na vila Di Grasovih zapravo se nalazi u Palermu. Serija otkriva Siciliju kao spoj istorije, dekadencije i savreme- nog luksuza. today part of the Four Sea- sons chain, perched on a cliff above the Ionian Sea. This former monastery dates back to the 14th century and has been converted into an exclu- sive hotel that becomes al- most a character in its own right in the series. Taormina, with its ancient Greek thea- tre and narrow streets, is of- ten in the frame, while Isola Bella brings picturesque sea views. The Baroque Noto ap- pears in city scenes, while the Di Grasso family villa is actual- ly located in Palermo. The se- ries reveals Sicily as a fusion of history, decadence and contemporary luxury.
