Timothy Christian Middle School Discipleship classes are seeking wisdom/testimonies from Park Place residents! Park Place Train Runs: Celebrate Mom Sunday, May 11 12:30 p.m., Creation Studio Join the Park Place rail fans and join Mom aboard for the day as Grayson Haller and Carole Zimmer run the trains in the Creation Studio on Mother’s Day. Friends and family are welcome. Future train run dates are to be determined. Senior Suburban Orchestra Monday, May 12 11:00 a.m., Dining Room The Senior Suburban Orchestra, now in its 25th season, has been led by Dan Pasquale D’Andrea since its beginning in 2000. Maestro D’Andrea has helped develop the Orchestra into an award-winning 40+ piece performing organization, which performs up to fifteen concerts per year in the western suburbs.
The Shoemaker’s Wife is a multigenerational love story spanning two continents, two World Wars, and the quest of two star- crossed lovers to find each other again. An orphan raised by nuns, Ciro finds himself banished from his village through no fault of his own, while Enza is determined to rescue her large family from poverty and
grief after the death of her younger sister. Their goals drive them apart despite an immediate attraction. All are welcome to attend and join the Place Book Discussion Group.
