iXblue offers cost effective Optical Reference Transmitter solutions

iXblue is an industrial group that is recognised worldwide for the design, development and manufacture of optical modulation solutions. Our integrated modulation systems called ModBoxes are optical transmitters based on external LiNbO3 modulation. The range of product is focused on high speed and complex telecommunication modulation schemes such as (D)QPSK, PAM, DPSK, NRZ, high speed OVNA and

wavelength solutions at 1310 nm and 1550nm embedding a carefully selected modulator to provide more versatility and compactness while meeting your budget requirements. The Optical Reference Transmitter ModBox addresses the telecommunications and network equipment markets. It is the ideal optical transmitter for high-speed test solutions that are robust, reliable and compliant with IEEE standard.

linear modulation at an optical wavelength available over a wide spectral range from 780nm to 2000nm. The Optical Reference Transmitter ModBox is a flexible and efficient electrical to optical converter. iXblue is a pioneer in providing Optical Reference Transmitters featuring a clean and adjustable optical eye diagram at 850nm, O-Band and C-Band wavelengths. iXblue is offering new cost-effective

solutions for Optical Vectorial Network Analyser (OVNA) for receiver [S] measurements, and optical transmitters to deliver optical data-stream PAM-4 up to 28Gbauds, and up to 56Gbauds. iXblue’s Optical Reference Transmitters are affordable test solutions because we are integrating our own proprietary low loss wide bandwidth LiNbO3 modulators up to 40 GHz and up to 70 GHz. We also offer dual

During ECOC, iXblue and Anritsu will showcase stressed eye tests. Using iXblue’s ModBox-1310nm-1550nm-56Gbauds-PAM4 LR4 -ER4 Optical Reference Transmitter and Anritsu MP1900A, we will demonstrate a joint test system compliant with the 100 GbE IEEE 802.3ba standard. The stressed eye will be analysed on Anritsu’s MP2110A BertWave’s simultaneous optical eye waveform and jitter analysis.

Yamaichi’s QSFP-DD Pluggable Module Connector and Cage Assembly

400G capable high-speed connector system for Data

Different mechanical versions available

Networking market Yamaichi Electronics has expanded its high-speed

Yamaichi Electronics is proud to provide the suitable product for the next generation of data networking market applications. The single-type connector together with the mechanical assembly kit were released into the market. The series will be expanded to the multiport-type connector soon. Yamaichi Electronics also offers customised heatsink solutions. In addition, it is planned to provide the stacked QSFP-DD later during 2019. Thus, Yamaichi Electronics provides the complete QSFP-DD product series to support the customers´ requirements for their applications.

connector product portfolio with a new small form factor connector for 400 Gigabit data networking applications and cage assembly mechanical parts. QSFP-DD is one of the new small form factors. It was standardised by QSFP-DD MSA. Yamaichi Electronics is one of the active MSA members. QSFP-DD is similar to the current QSFP, but there are additional contact rows inside the structure design to realise double density by 8 channels for electrical signal transmission. Our mechanical

design is QSFP-DD MSA compliant. It is also backwards compatible to the current QSFP. Features and advantages Yamaichi Electronics has a lot of experience in the design of high-speed connectors. The design structure and electrical performance of the new QSFP- DD connector benefits from this know-how and expertise.

The connector is designed for 200G and 400G technologies and to support 28 Gbps per channel NRZ, and 56 Gbps per channel PAM4 modulation. Moreover, the signal integrity takes into consideration 112Gbps per channel PAM4 modulation. This outstanding electrical performance is unique on the market so far.
