Aurey Lacroix, from L’Orignal, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the age of 89, surrounded by his family. Beloved spouse of Thérèse Fortin; son of the late Adélard Lacroix and of the late Alice Davidson; cherished father of Carol (David Olsen), Alana (Carl Carkner), Donna (Jack Leenhouts) and Cathy (Wayne Malette) and stepfather of Yan Robert. Loving grandfather of Allison, Lorian (Kris), Lauren (Joe), Ashley (Steve), Danika (Scot), Kathleen, Mareike, Schuyler, Waylen, Alycha, Jordan and Quintin; great grandfather of Carlos, Samuel, James, Lucas, Logan, Lennyx, Carter, Evan and Hailey. Predeceased by one granddaughter, Kaitlin and many brothers and sisters. He also leaves many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends. Monsieur Aurèle Galipeau, de Hawkesbury, est décédé le samedi 6 janvier 2018, à l’âge de 85 ans. Il était le tendre époux de Marjolaine Dubord; le fils de feu Eugène Galipeau et de feu Laurentia Renaud; le père bien-aimé de Paul (Christine Choquette), Pauline, Linda (Nicole Sauvé) et de feu Pierre; le grand-père adoré de Marie-Claude Cardinal (Bradley LeCheminant) ainsi que l’arrière-grand-père de James et Claire; le cher frère d’Aline, Armand, Fernande et Henri. Il laisse aussi la mère de ses enfants, Lucille Lapensée. Il fut prédécédé par un frère, Léo et une sœur, Lucienne. Lui survivent également plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-soeurs, cousins, cousines, neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. Chère épouse, maman et grand-maman. Il y a un an, tu nous quittais avec beaucoup de courage, laissant le cœur serré, ceux qui t’aimaient. Jésus te voyait épuisée par la maladie alors Il a apaisé tes souffrances en te chuchotant : « Tu es fatiguée, viens te reposer en paix; ce doux repos, tu l’as mérité, suis-moi. » Avec beaucoup de peine et de respect, nous n’avons pu te retenir. Le grand vide que ton départ a creusé dans nos vies demeure tout aussi douloureux qu’au premier jour. Nous nous consolons en pensant qu’un jour nous serons à nouveau tous réunis avec toi. Levant les yeux vers le ciel, nous te disons : « On t’aime, tu nous manques tellement; ton nom, maman, reviens souvent sur nos lèvres. » De là-haut, veille sur nous. Déjà 5 ans séparent la dernière fois ou l’on a pu se tenir la main et se regarder dans les yeux. Accepté de perdre quelqu’un d’aussi cher que toi a été la plus dure des épreuves de notre vie. Tu as laissé un grand vide dans notre vie. Les doux souvenirs de tes 41 belles années avec nous, nous aident à affronter la vie. Merci à la vie pour tout ce qu’elle nous a permis de vivre ensemble.
