there is confusion related to pictures and session attendance. When you pick up your packet, one of the cards has NCCA at the top and two lines for you to put your name and school. This is ALL YOU NEED to get into any clinic session. You can get your picture made later when the lines may be down a bit – we all know Monday is the busiest day. NCCA This year, we decided to add sessions for Flag Football and Men’s Volleyball , two sports recently sanctioned by the NCHSAA. This is a trial – we really want to see how many people will attend these sessions to see if we need to keep them for 2027. Both will be on Wednesday, July 22. Flag Football will be in the Odeon Theater on Wednesday morning for three sessions. Not hard to get to as you walk out the side doors of the Special Events Center like you are walking to the parking lot and make a left. You’ll past the Special Events Center and Coliseum and the signs for the Odeon Theater are on the left. As a matter of fact, you can park in the area next to the Odeon Theater and the Terrace. Men’s Volleyball is on Wednesday afternoon in Meeting Room 1. I know we have coaches doing both Women’s and Men’s and I’m sorry about the overlap, but we just don’t have the room space on another day. I’ve already talked with some Volleyball coaches about creative scheduling if we keep this session. _______________ _______________ 2026
Here we go for 2026! The entire clinic schedule and clinician descriptions are up at www.nccoach. org . If you don’t read but one thing – READ THIS – Just because your school paid to register you, if you don’t show up to the clinic and pick up your packet, you ARE NOT a member/associate and receive no benefits for the year. This column is all about navigating the clinic so I hope these suggestions help. Registration reminders: Everyone knows that Monday morning is the busiest time of the week. Registration opens at 8am and we will have people standing in front of the Special Events Center by 6:30am. The registration lines are busiest from 8-11 on Monday and the picture lines in the Trade Show don’t calm down until around 3. If you are going to be at the clinic for 2-3 days, get your picture made at a time when the line is shorter. We will have 8 preregistration lines and 3 new registration lines . We are going to try it out and see if it helps with congestion. The lines are divided as such: A-Bu, By-Du, Dy-Ha, He-K, L-Mi, Mo-Re, Rh- Sz, T-Z. We looked at the preregistered numbers and alphabet for a couple of years and tried our best to divide equally. We will open after lunch at 1:45 as opposed to 2:00 to give extra time for folks to get to the 2pm sessions. Pre-registered Gold Card Members will be able to skip the pre-reg lines and come directly to the right side of registration to pick up their packet. Even though we open registration at 8am and start sessions at 9:50 on Monday, we believe that
