Meals on Wheels Volunteers are desperately needed to deliver meals to homebound seniors during the winter months. Meals are delivered between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday to Friday. Des élèves de l’École publique secondaire L’Héritage, qui participeront bientôt à un voyage culturel en Chine, ont organisé une collecte de fonds la fin de semaine dernière. Ils ont aidé les clients de l’épicerie YIG à ensacher leurs provisions. Le départ pour l’Asie se fera en mars. Rappelons que la Chine est le plus grand pays d’Asie orientale, par ses dimensions territoriales et démographiques. Sur plus de 22 000 kilomètres, ses frontières la séparent de 14 autres pays : Corée du Nord, Russie, Mongolie, Kazakhstan, Kirghizistan, Tadjikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Inde, Népal, Bhoutan, Birmanie, Laos et Vietnam.
