InfoCannabis offrira un service à lamaison où les gens pourront être mis en contact, via Internet, avec des docteurs spécialisés en la matière, afin d’examiner le dossier médical de la personne et d’établir le type de traitement le plus efficace. De plus, le centre InfoCannabis permettra aux gens de se procurer l’attirail nécessaire à la consommation du cannabis, offrira de l’information à tous ceux qui le désirent et mettra aussi sur pied des évènements spéciaux. Tous les services seront offerts en anglais et en français. « Il est très important pour moi que ces services soient offerts dans les deux langues officielles, dans un environnement sain et comfortable » a affirmé M. But, Parisien agreed, the counties would also get criticized for wasting taxpayer money if it didn’t go with the lowest bid on a tender. Work on revamping the website is now in progress. Parisien said the new site should be online within a couple of months. Like the old site, it will be available to both English and French users, and Parisien said it will be more user-friendly for residents.
The counties are under fire for not going local on a contract for revamping the UCPR website. But the chief administrator says the choice was always focused on getting the best budget value. The United Counties of Prescott-Russell (UCPR) has come under fire from some quarters for outsourcing the contract for redoing the counties’ website to the To- ronto office of an IT company based out of
