APEGA was awarded a new, three-year, $400,000 grant from the federal government. This new project will examine workplace barriers faced by women that have been introduced, or made worse, by the COVID-19 pandemic. We will study organizational recruitment, promotion and retention practices, and the challenge of re-entering the workplace after leave.
The Women in APEGA Advisory Group makes recommendations to APEGA’s Registrar & CEO on increasing the representation, engagement, and retention of women in engineering and geoscience to ensure the inclusivity and sustainability of the professions.
