Sports week! Bubbled teamwork.
SKILL STATIONS During National School Sports Week this year the pupils at Abbey took part in their annual School Sports Days. This year’s KS2 events had quite an overhaul and took on a new format in a bid to remain Covid Safe and protect bubbles. The change in format appeared to be a hit as pupils beamed with excitement and positivity throughout the day. All pupils took part in a variety of skill stations and scored points- competing for their class. KS1 had their turn on Thursday 24th June and again they had a blast! It was fantastic to see the children outside; being active all day - come rain or shine; just having a wonderful time, working as a team with their classmates; smiling and laughing all day long! Congratulations to the winning classes of Sports Day 2021:
