Summary: Within the Information Systems Department, the incumbent will provide technical support services for the entire corporation. As part of this very versatile job, this person will be required to install equipment and to respond to emergencies or technical questions from staff. Requirements: High school diploma and an additional program of six months to one year; Advanced knowledge of Windows 7, 8.1 and 10; Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, Antivirus software, VMWare Workstation and Virtual PC, DOS, Active Directory; Good knowledge of network principles (LAN and WAN), the client/server technology, TCP/IP protocol and Ethernet topology; Good theoretical and practical knowledge of material, equipment and peripherals (computers, portable computers, tablets, printers, scanners, smart phones, etc.); Solid interpersonal/verbal communication skills, be able to communicate (oral and written) in French and in English; Proven analytical and problem solving skills; Have good time management skills; Possess a valid driver’s license and a car.
Sommaire : Au sein du département des Systèmes informatiques, le titulaire devra assurer les services de support technique pour l’ensemble de la corporation. Dans le cadre de son travail très polyvalent, il sera appelé à installer de l’équipement et à répondre à des urgences ou des demandes techniques du personnel. Exigences : Diplôme d’études secondaires et un programme additionnel de six mois à un an; Connaissances approfondies de Windows, 7, 8.1 et 10, Suite Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, logiciels Antivirus, VMWare Workstation et Virtual PC, DOS, Active Directory; Bonnes connaissances des principes des réseautiques (LAN et WAN), de la technologie client/serveur, du protocole TCP/IP et de la topologie Ethernet; Bonnes connaissances théoriques et pratiques du matériel/équipement/périphériques (ordinateurs, ordinateurs portables, tablettes, imprimantes, numériseurs, téléphones intelligents, etc.); Solides compétences en communication interpersonnelle/verbale, être capable de communiquer à l'oral et à l'écrit en français et en anglais; Compétences éprouvées en analyse et résolution de problèmes; Avoir de bonnes aptitudes pour gérer son temps; Posséder une automobile et un permis de conduire valide.
