Give up teaching to go into business? From such a simple thought, a busi- ness was born in 1975. Gaston Gaudreau was a teacher for a long time before his career change, and even then, he still followed what he has always seen as his life’s work : to help others.

In 1987 he became a licensed financial consultant and since then mutual funds investment has be- come part of the foundation of his business.
Apple falls close to the tree Family values have always been at the heart of Gaudreau’s business. So it is no surprise that in 1996 Manuel Gaud- reau joined his father in the fi- nancial management planning sector. By then, the business was known as the Gaudreau Financial Advisors , a well-run business doing well out of its Laurier Street location in Rock- land. Gaudreau’s vision then was to have a network of in- dependent experts able to offer their personal experience and expertise to clients in all aspects of financial management plan- ning. In 2001 Jasmin, Manuel’s younger brother, joined the team, bringing with him a new area of expertise in the mortgage

His new approach to that goal began with selling life insurance from his home office in Bourget. From the start, he has made a point of providing a very con- crete and personal approach in dealing with and on behalf of his clients, who proved loyal to him all through the years that he and his business grew. 40 years ago, the whole concept of personal financial management planning was something new. It might even have been described as a pretty avant-garde subject for Mr. and Mrs. Average Home- owner. A few years later, in 2006, Gaston Gaudreau handed over the reins of the business to his son, Manuel, and stepped back to enjoy the retired life. The business was renamed Gaud- reau Financial Services and continues to uphold the family tradition of service excellence, competitive products, and a personalized work ethic borned out of the original vision of the company’s founder, Gaston Gaudreau, who would be more than proud of what he has cre- ated and its continuing future growth and success.
