Created in partnership with the Maryland Museum of Natural History, this exhibition pairs objects from the museum’s collection with works by contemporary artists whose practices explore, interpret, and investigate the natural world. Featuring artwork by Zoë Charlton, Kini Collins, Caitlin Gill, Sanzi Kermes, Jennifer McBrien “Overlay” brings together artists whose practices explore the relationship between material process and meaning through fiber, collage, photography, painting and mixed media. Using layering, accumulation, transparency and concealment as both visual and conceptual strategies, the exhibition examines how identity, memory and lived experience are constructed over time.

In “Stainless,” photographer J.M. Giordano presents images from his “Steelworker” series, documenting the people and lasting impact of the local steel industry. Through powerful documentary photographs, the exhibition explores labor, resilience and the human stories embedded within industrial landscapes. Reception: 6–8 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2026 CCBC Dundalk, Alvin and Mary Lloyd College Center, Art Gallery Winter Art Market December 1–3, 2026 The annual Winter Art Market showcases artwork and handcrafted goods by CCBC student and alumni artists and makers.
