Cauliflower Pizza (2-3 Servings)
INGREDIENTS 1 10" premade cauliflower pizza crust ½ cup pizza sauce (our ‘Hidden Veggie Tomato Sauce’ works great) 3⁄4 cup shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese Any toppings you desire (fresh baby spinach, sautéed mushrooms, sliced bell pepper, olives, onion, chopped cooked broccoli, diced grilled chicken, fresh basil, etc. are great options INSTRUCTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 450°F. 2. Place plain frozen cauliflower crust (do not allow crust to thaw) directly onto wire rack in center of oven. 3. Bake for 10–15 minutes on each side. 4. Remove crust from oven and add sauce, making sure to spread sauce to the edges, covering the entire crust. 5. Add cheese and desired toppings. 6. Return pizza to oven and cook directly on rack until cheese is bubbly.
This low-carb crust is the perfect base for a blood sugar-friendly pizza, as well as moderately low in calories. Pack on the fiber by being generous with green veggies like broccoli, spinach, and peppers. NutritionNotes
