Inland has announced its membership in the Sustain- able Packaging Coalition (SPC).The SPC brings togeth- er businesses, educational institutions, and government agencies to collectively broaden the un- derstanding of packaging sustainability and develop meaningful improvements for packaging solutions. SPC membership includes approximately 200 compa- nies in the marketplace and represents diverse per- spectives across the packaging supply chain.The SPC is an industry working group dedicated to a more ro- bust environmental vision for packaging. Through an informed and science-based approach, supply chain collaborations and continuous outreach, SPC endeav- ors to build packaging systems that encourage eco- nomic prosperity and a sustainable flow of materials. PMMI Membership Reaches Record Levels PMMI,The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, reached a milestone of more than 800 member companies last month, after the approval of 46 new member companies at its Executive Leader- ship Conference, March 19-21,Aventura, Florida.
