(5) Setback . A construction sign or commercial real estate sign shall be placed no closer than 10 feet from the back of curb or edge of pavement.
d. Off-Site Sign
An off-site sign, provided to direct vehicular or pedestrian traffic to a location other than the property on which the sign is located, shall be permitted in accordance with the following standards:
(1) Sign Surface Area . An off-site sign shall not exceed four (4) square feet.
(2) Setback . In compliance with this Article, signs shall be located in a public right-of-way in a manner as to not create a view obstruction or interfere with vehicular or pedestrian traffic. Where sidewalk exists, the signs shall be placed between the curb and sidewalk. Where no sidewalk exists, the signs shall be placed within 10' from the back of pavement.
(3) Maximum Height . The maximum height of an off-site sign shall be 42 inches.
Duration of Display .

A. Weekend Directional Signs . After a permit is issued, signage shall be permitted from 5 pm on Friday through 9 am on the following Monday.
i. Weekend directional signs shall be specific to new residential and commercial developments.
ii. Once approved, weekend directional sign permits shall be valid until the final Certificate of Occupancy is issued for the development.
B. Commercial Sales Event . After the permit is issued, signage may be placed up to 48 hours prior to the event and shall be removed at the event’s conclusion. In no case shall the sign(s) be in place for more than 72 consecutive hours.
i. Commercial sales event permits shall be valid for one (1) year from the date of issue.
ii. Commercial sales event signage is limited to one (1) sales event per month.
C. Open House Signs . Signage may only be placed on the day(s) of the event and shall be removed at its conclusion. All signage must specify the day and time of the event.
