Hills Bank in Washington (2481 Hwy 92 E). Calling all animal lovers! Attend the annual Barnyard Days event to see many “barnyard” animals and maybe even pet a few. Bring your grandchildren! This event is fun for people of all ages. No registration necessary. NOTE: Hills Bank in North Liberty will only have baby chicks to view.
America’s Favorite Pastime Trivia with Dr. Ernie Found and Doris Montag Hills Bank in North Liberty (590 W Forevergreen Rd) Wednesday, April 1, 2:00 p.m. Dr. Ernie Found and Doris Montag have teamed up again to celebrate the beginning of the baseball season with a kind-hearted trivia match between 2 opposing teams, likely rivals; likely both starting with the letter “C.” In the nature of television’s Family Feud, 2 captains and their teams of 3 baseball trivia aficionados will test their knowledge and wit. Participants from the audience can sign up to rotate into a team. Specific rules will be umpired. Everyone come wearing your team’s colors and bring the high expectations that the beginning of the baseball season necessitates. Come be a part of the game or witness all the fun!
