Day four will have us visiting the Norman Rockwell Museum to tour his studio and see the world’s largest collection of original Rockwell works, including his Saturday Evening Post covers. Then we’re off to Chesterwood to learn about the life of Daniel Chester French, the sculptor responsible for Abraham Lincoln in the

Lincoln Memorial. We’ll also visit Edith Wharton’s home, have dinner at the Morgan House, and enjoy a special performance by the Capitol Steps at Cranwell Resort. Our last full day in the Berkshires will begin with a visit to the Clark Art Institute to admire the museum’s

collection of European and American paintings, sculptures, and prints ranging from the Renaissance to the early twentieth century. After a tour of the home and gardens at Naumkeag, we’ll embark for Tanglewood for the highlight of the tour—a performance by the Boston Symphony Orchestra! The following morning, we’ll begin our journey home, stopping in Ohio for the evening to enjoy a farewell dinner and time to reminisce on our adventure in the Berkshires. Six nights’ accommodations, twelve meals, admission to all activities listed on the itinerary, a Travel Protection plan, taxes and gratuities, and a tour manager are included in the tour price.
