Strategic Directions Goals and Action Items Goals and Action Items The following goals and action items associated with the four Strategic Directions provide a roadmap to the future for the department and the community. Each strategic direction is critical to moving the department closer to achieving its vision and mission. To ensure implementation of each goal and action item, a responsible party receives the following assignment/project, a timeline, a funding source (if necessary), and whether it meets a City Expectation, or FWPD priority, as listed below. The goals and action items are not listed in order of priority. Below is a descriptive key for each category. Please note that some goals and action items may not be implemented due to lack of funding.
