Work with the Human Resources Department to identify and implement a plan to ensure that five key positions are aligned with the complexity of the position responsibilities and/or duties in FY17. Provide quarterly reports/updates internally and externally for Command staff, City Management, CCPD Board, and the public. Continue to provide job training opportunities and leadership development for at least 15% of Division staff per year. Increase staff by one Administrative Technician in FY19.

Grant and Program Management Unit There are three primary Grant and Program Management areas of responsibility:
1. Serving as a liaison with the Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) Board of Directors and all agencies funded by the CCPD, to the Partners with a Share Mission funding category, and all Independent School Districts that participate in SRO program. The Grant and Program Management Unit are also responsible for the program management of these funds in compliance with local government code chapter 363 and the CCPD Financial Management Policy. 2. The Unit is responsible the research, development, and submission of applications, and managing funding received through federal, state, and local grants on behalf of the Police Department. 3. The Unit serves as the fiscal agency for the region—responsible for coordinating and managing Justice Assistance Grant funding on behalf of multiple sub-recipient jurisdictions within the FW/Dallas Metroplex. At this time, the Unit is managing approximately $25 million in grant and CCPD funding through approximately 50 agreements.
