Manual Edge_Relieving Low Back Hip and Knee Pain

Do you suffer from back, knee or hip pain? It is possible you may have osteoarthritis in those joints. Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common condition of the joints, affecting approximately 27 million Americans. With OA, there is a breakdown in the cartilage covering the ends of bones. As the cartilage wears away, the bones become exposed and rub against each other.

Even though I’m busy working as a therapist at Manual Edge, I still love to spend time with my family. My wife Zoe and I have two incredible adult children, Bryan and Kristi. Kristi has been involved in a day program that’s really quite exceptional. Our House Bright Futures offers a variety of programs including a day program that helps individuals with disabilities flourish and become as productive and independent as possible. This particular day program is for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our daughter, Kristi, has really excelled since

being in the program. They offer such a supportive environment and the staff encourages Kristi’s unique abilities. They help individuals with daily living skills, give them opportunities to

increase socialization, and provide ways to become more involved in the community. Our House Bright Futures also has a residential program and what is called the Rise program for those individuals who are attempting to achieve greater independence. Our family has been really happy with the results and how well Kristi has done since being part of the Our House Bright Futures day program. We are looking forward to the advancements our daughter will make and the friendships she’ll continue to develop while being involved in this exciting program. Manual Edge supports the Our House Bright Futures program and you can too.
