Flint Group Opens New Turkish Facility

Flint Group has opened a new 3,800-square-meter manufacturing and distribution facility in Istanbul, Turkey. “The acquisition of this new facility was initially, and strategically, planned for Flint Group’s water- based Paper & Board business segment,” Krzysztof Struszczak, Operations Director Packaging Inks East- ern Europe. “However, it soon became clear that we should combine with other key segments supplying all needs of the Packaging market from this one loca- tion. Today, Flint Group’s Narrow Web, Sheetfed, and Digital Solutions (Xeikon) businesses have joined Paper & Board in this single facility.” SGP The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), the leading authority in sustainable printing certifica- tions for print manufacturers, has elected two new members to its Board of Directors and two reap- pointments.
