A Love Story H HO does not like a love story? A letter from a missionary brings us a very sweet love story. I will let him tell it to you, but as you read the story please read between the lines, and note how this work develops and trains men and calls out the very hest there is in them, and prepares them for posi­ tions of great responsibility. The mis­ sionary writes^rv£“ You may be interest­ ed to know that Mr. Ou-Yang, assistant leader of Band No. 6, has become en­ gaged to Miss Yen, our girls’ school teacher. . They will make a lovely pair, admirably suited to each other and both of one mind concerning the work of th« Lord. They hope to get married to­ ward the end of the year and the ques­ tion as to their future sphere is one we are all very much interested in. They will be a great asset to the work any­ where. “ During the three years we have been privileged to have Band No. 6 working with us, I have noticed again and again

the keen interest Mr. Ou-Yang has taken in the various young churches which have been established by them1. The little flocks are all eager to know when he can come and see them, the children vlove him, and I think that we are all in about the same box. “ Last year at Nanyoh I was about to suggest him as one whom I would like to have work with us in conserving the results of all the glorious work done in these many centers, but I hesitated to even breathe-a word to you about it. Over Thirty Centers “My heart and soul are with these dear young fellows, and the work of evangelizing in which they are engaged is to me the most urgent of all, but that work to be lasting needs following up; the young believers need to be shepherd­ ed if they are not to fall a prey to the wolf and the lion. It is impossible for me to care for over thirty centers with more opening up, and then there is the possibility of furlough next year, and if some one like Mr. Ou-Yang, who has
