As well as the events detailed in this programme, the following will take place throughout Dulwich Linguistic week.

Multi-lingual Treasure Hunt The quickest correct entry in each School wins a prize and all other correct entries will go into a prize draw. Bon Appetit Daily themed lunches in the Christison Hall from France, Germany, Italy, China and Spain. The Dulwich Wall of language An organic body of language drawn from the Dulwich community will be constructed on big screens in the Lower Hall. Read my lips Well-known ventriloquist Owen Reid will be teaching Year 6-13 classes the basics of ventriloquism and helping boys understand spelling in different languages.

My Favourite Word Video Booth

Use our video booth to record your favourite word or phrase in any language. Look out for the uploads on MyDulwich. Flying the flag Daily flag raising of our Dulwich- taught languages by pupils from all five Schools. The Dulwich Language census Take part in the annual census. Last year there were more than 50 different languages spoken across the Dulwich community. Latin Roots Year 10-13 Biologists will be taking a closer look at the Latin and Greek suffixes and prefixes of common biological terms.
