Fusing art and design, these artworks are elevated for the 21st century through the incorporation of colourful holes. Michael explains: “The idea is that they create a lightwell, so not only can you look through it but it reflects the internal colour of the holes onto the surface behind.” The Pop Simplicity works capture sirens of the silver screen, mixing monochrome and multicoloured elements.
