The number of townhome listings in Richmond increased to 232 in January, 9% above the previous month but a 19% decrease vs January 2020. The 60 townhome sales in January were 23% below December and 1.6% lower year-over-year. The townhome sales-to-listings ratio decreased to 26%, as Richmond’s townhome market remained in seller’s market territory. The benchmark price for townhomes in January was $823,700, 0.8% above December and 7% higher than in January 2020. The average sold price was $898,690 (2% above December) with an average PSF sales price of $607 (0.5% below December).
