ORTNER KEVIN MISSION: REAL ESTATE-BASED FINANCIAL SECURITY FOR ALL

Renters Warehouse has been listed on the Inc. 500/5000 list of fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States eight times under Ortner’s leadership. CURRENT THINK REALTY COURSES Buy & Hold Strategies Building Your Rent Estate™ Portfolio EXPERIENCE Kevin Ortner first joined Renters Warehouse in 2009 when he opened the company’s first Phoenix, Arizona, fran- chise. Just four years later, he had opened multiple franchis- es, reached a record-setting 2,000 properties under manage- ment in a single franchise, and taken on an executive role in the company, first as chief operations officer (COO) in 2013, then as president and CEO in 2015. The same year, Renters Warehouse trademarked the term Rent Estate™, and in 2017 Ortner penned a book titled Rent Estate™ Revolution. “I’m a guy who has always been about financial security and ensuring that all generations growing up across the country have a long-term plan,” he explained. “I wrote Rent Estate™ Revolution because I wanted more people to come into the real estate rental space, buy assets, and start creat- ing wealth, financial freedom, and security for themselves and their families. The hardest thing is getting started. MENTORS AND INSPIRATIONAL INDIVIDUALS Ortner cites four individuals as sources of inspiration and valued mentors. First, he said, his father “is a shining exam- ple of the American Dream and a father working to ensure each generation is better off than the last.” He described his father as “one of the hardest-working, most disciplined,
