Session : Mental Health, AI, Cybersecurity, and Human Trust Farrah N. Khan As artificial intelligence becomes deeply integrated into our personal, professional, and societal lives, mental health is increasingly shaped by the ways individuals interact with digital technologies. Beyond concerns of privacy and security, today’s leaders, clinicians, educators, and organizations must navigate the psychological implications of living in an always-connected world where trust, identity, resilience, and wellbeing are continually challenged. This session explores the intersection of mental health, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and human trust, examining how digital environments influence psychological wellbeing and how human-centered approaches can foster healthier relationships with technology. Participants will consider the emerging field of cyber psychology, the effects of digital ecosystems on stress, decision-making, and social connection, and the importance of designing technologies that strengthen rather than erode human flourishing. The discussion will address digital wellbeing, psychological resilience in the face of cyber threats and information overload, the development of trust in AI-enabled systems, and the ethical responsibilities of organizations creating and deploying intelligent technologies. Through a whole-person, whole-systems perspective, the session highlights how cybersecurity extends beyond technical infrastructure to include cognitive, emotional, and social dimensions of human experience. As AI continues to transform workplaces, healthcare, education, and global communica- tion, building resilient individuals and trustworthy technological ecosystems becomes essential for the future of mental health. Participants will leave with practical insights into creating secure, ethical, and psychologically supportive digital environments that place human wellbeing at the center of technological innovation.
