What has been your most memorable moment during your time with Round Square? My most memorable experience was Senior Round Square Week in 2026. The committee spent lots of time planning and organising events, so it was great to see everything come together so successfully. It was also rewarding to see so many students participating in, and enjoying the activities we had organised. How does Round Square help students grow as leaders? Leadership is one of the Round Square IDEALS, and the programme provides students with many opportunities to develop this quality. Committee members plan and run a variety of events throughout the year, taking responsibility for everything – from generating ideas
I have been involved with Round Square since joining College. I was in the Junior Round Square Committee from Years 9–11, then the Senior Committee in Year 12, and am now serving in my final year. What is it about Round Square that draws students into the programme? Most students at College are familiar with Round Square because of the many student-organised events each year. Activities such as food trucks, karaoke, and the Quiz Night are always popular. However, what draws students more deeply into the programme are the opportunities it provides. These include helping to plan and run events, participating in exchanges, and joining international service projects that allow students to experience different cultures and ways of life around the world.
