YEAR IN REVIEW 1) Broward County Mayor Lamar Fisher and his wife Suzan, our United Way President and CEO Kathleen Cannon and Gala Co-Chairs Jennifer Starkey and Stephen Moss celebrate 10 years of MISSION UNITED’s work during the Mayors’ Gala 2) Major League Soccer players Kai Thomas and Ian Fray volunteered to distribute Thanksgiving dinners to Veterans through MISSION UNITED 3) The Annual Women United Magnolia Luncheon honored Debbie Savage and Alexa Rosario, pictured here with LaurieAnne Minoff, Traci Miller, Nicole Flier, keynote speaker Lisa Leslie, Dr. Lori Eickleberry, Angie Davis and Kathleen Cannon 4) NextGen United Affinity Group members Ryan Mintz, Jennifer Cobaugh and Michael Beaton deliver backpacks to families of Veterans 5-6) The Alexis de Tocqueville Society Holiday Party was hosted at the home of Lisa Lutoff- Perlo pictured here with Colin Brown, and during the party, the Gaddis family received the Tocqueville Award for their years of philanthropic work 7) Nancy Daly presents Board Member Chuck Morton with the Paul E. Daly Champion of Prevention Award during the Behavioral Health Conference 8) Takela, a local Veteran who received support from United Way’s MISSION UNITED initiative, was the first-ever recipient of our Operation Refresh — a project that redesigns the homes of local Veterans.
