VERMONT
Candy & Confectionary
▪ Founded by Mark and Gail Elvidge for their son with a life- threatening peanut allergy, Vermont Nut Free has been crafting fine, artisan chocolates in a peanut and tree nut free facility since 1998. ▪ Gail realized that other families may have a hard time finding safe sweets for their littles ones, so she and Mark decided to start a business out of their home in Grand Isle, Vermont. ▪ Today, from their Colchester Vermont facility, they are able to offer nut free “dupes” of popular candies that everyone can enjoy.

Candy & Confectionary
▪ We are a multi-generational, family business, just like the generations of Vermont family farmers that provide us with fresh butter, cream, maple syrup, and honey. Eric and Ellen are defining the future of Lake Champlain Chocolates by developing award-winning organic products and spearheading sustainable sourcing initiatives. ▪ Vermont is more than just our home; it’s a way of doing things. Long before eating local became a trend it just made sense to us that using high-quality honey, maple syrup, and fresh dairy from our local farmers and producers would result in superior chocolates.
