▪ Hank Sauce started as a personal recipe shared among
college roommates. Two of us didn’t even like hot sauce. We started using it as an everyday condiment, dubbing it hot sauce for people who don’t like hot sauce. It was clear there was a place for it beyond our own kitchens. We grew the brand through years of grassroots efforts and word of mouth, including serving it in our own restaurant and seeing how people actually used it on real food. Hank Sauce is available nationwide and is made in our own facility in South Jersey. As a family owned and operated company, we still make it with the same care and attention as we did in the early days.

▪ Jane’s Story began in a modest kitchen in a small apartment in Overbrook, PA. She was a rosy cheeked grandmother-type, busily mixing batches of salt, pepper, herbs and a few secret ingredients to make her cooking go a little faster and make gifts for friends and relatives. Her energy and zest for life helped her turn her hobby into an international food sensation. Jane told the World News, Roanoke VA in 1971, “I don’t feel anyone should retire, but should keep busy meeting people. When you start a business at sixty like I did, you realize that age is not important. It’s the enthusiasm.”
