TREX CONTRIBUTION
Habitat Restoration Projects: Employees supported pollinator garden development and invasive plant removal projects to enhance biodiversity and restore native habitats in local communities. Wood Sourcing: Approximately 99% of reclaimed wood used in Trex products comes from certified sources or pre-consumer agricultural waste streams, reducing demand for virgin timber and supporting responsible land-use practices. Waste Plastic Diversion: Since inception, Trex has upcycled more than 6.4 billion pounds of waste plastic film, preventing landfill accumulation and environmental leakage.

Board Oversight: Trex maintains independent Board oversight of sustainability, risk management and corporate governance matters through dedicated committees and regular performance reviews. Ethics & Compliance: Trex enforces a Vendor and Customer Code of Conduct and Ethics, requiring suppliers and business partners to adhere to responsible and ethical business practices. Political Contributions: Trex made no political contributions in 2025, reinforcing our commitment to transparent and accountable governance. Cybersecurity Oversight: Cybersecurity and data protection risks are monitored within enterprise risk management and reviewed at the Board level to protect stakeholder interests.

NexTrex® Recycling Network: The NexTrex® program expanded to more than 15,300 retail locations, enabling us to source the recycled PE required for our manufacturing production through partnerships with retailers and consumers. Community Partnerships: Trex partners with organizations such as United Way and local nonprofits to amplify charitable impact through employee engagement and matching contributions.
