Q3 2021 production of con- tainerboard for export increased ten percent compared to the same quarter last year; it was down 15 percent year- to-date. The containerboard operating rate was 95.6 percent, up 1.7 points from Q3 2020 and up 1.5 points year-to-date Mill inventories of containerboard at the end of Sep- tember increased 35,000 short tons from the end of the previous quarter and were up 19,000 short tons compared to September 2020.
