ADMINISTRATION SUMMARY OF SERVICES
The Administration Division coordinates department-wide activities such as policy development and implementation; communications with the City Council, City commissions, and residents; human resources matters; information technology solutions; and fiscal analysis, reports, budget development, and administration. Additional responsibilities include Transportation Commission administration, workload analysis, special projects, staff engagement and development, administrative support, and participation in regional, local, and interdepartmental committees and task forces. Accomplishments Coordinated, planned, and implemented a Public Works Week for the residents of Irvine and surrounding community to engage and learn about the department functions. Developed and implemented a schedule and process to ensure all City Council and Commission staff reports are submitted within the required timeline. Continued staff growth, involvement, and engagement through employee service awards, vision planning exercises, and re-implementation of department-wide employee events.
