FLEET SERVICES SUMMARY OF SERVICES

The Fleet Services Division provides preventative, reactive, and predictive maintenance, as well as custom fabrication to the City’s fleet vehicles, ensuring vehicle reliability for all departments citywide. Additionally, the Division is responsible for managing and maintaining the City’s underground fuel storage tanks and fueling islands, ensuring proper management of fuel. Alternative fuels, such as Compressed Natural Gas and electric vehicles, are also utilized in order to conform to Air Quality Management District (AQMD) standards and to promote improving air quality.

Accomplishments 

Modernized and improved fleet shop for maximized efficiency and safety.

 Upgraded the City’s fueling system for quicker vehicle fueling and more accurate fuel -usage tracking.
