INTRODUCTION
CSMFO Excellence in Operational Budgeting – FY 2021-23
The California Society of Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO) presented an Operating Budget Excellence Award to the City of Irvine, California for its biennial budget for the FY 2021-23 beginning July 1, 2021. In order to receive this award, a governmental unit must publish a budget document that meets the criteria for excellence established by CSMFO. This award is valid for a two-year period only. The current budget continues to conform to program requirements, and will be submitted it to CSMFO for review and evaluation to determine its eligibility for another award.
