SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS

Fund 107: ROAD MAINTENANCE AND REHABILITATION FUND This fund was established to account for the revenues and expenditures for the SB 1: Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, which provides funding to cities and counties through the Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA). RMRA local street and road allocations must be primarily used for road maintenance and rehabilitation, safety projects, railroad grade separations, traffic control devices, and complete street components. In FY 2023-24, $7.5 million is appropriated to three projects, two of the larger projects include $6.1 million for the Annual Slurry Seal and Street Rehabilitation and $1 million for Irvine Boulevard Pavement Rehabilitation (Culver Drive to Jamboree Road). For FY 2024-25, $8.5 million is appropriated to two projects: $5.1 million for Annual Slurry Seal and Street Rehabilitation and $3.4 million Jamboree Road Pavement Rehabilitation (Main Street to Michelson Drive).
