Fund 286: GREAT PARK DEVELOPMENT FUND This fund accounts for Capital Improvement Program (CIP) project expenditures related to planning, design, demolition, and construction of the Great Park. The funding sources for these projects include funding from the Great Park (GP) Operating Fund, Fund 180, Local Park Fees (Quimby), Fund 112, and Great Park Settlement (State of California Department of Finance Agreement) Fund, Fund 181. Projects included in this fund are circulation and transportation projects and construction and rehabilitation of park facilities. Previously approved CIP projects still in progress include Park Administration Building design, a new Maintenance Facility, water quality improvement projects, and utility connection upgrades. Some of the largest appropriations over the next two fiscal years are: ARDA Demolition $11.5 million, LIFOC Site Preparation, $3.5 million; Phase 2 Shade Improvement for various areas, $2 million; South Lawn Utility Enhancements, $2.5 million, with Mass Grading for the Northern Sector, additional demolition and site clearances, as well as the start of construction for backbone utilities and streets planned to be presented as new projects within this timeframe.
