Safeguarding Serenity

Seaming Success Employing state-of-the-art seaming technology, our fabrication team adhered to the industry's highest quality assurance standards to provide exceptional prefabricated geomembrane solution for a Saskatchewan client needing secondary containment for hydrocarbons at a hydroelectric logistics complex. Here, we efficiently supplied and installed XR5 prefabricated reinforced geomembrane panels totaling 504,569ft² (46,876m²) within a rapid timeframe To ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of the firewater pond we also provided acoustic testing as a leak detection precaution measure. This involved welding the two layers of liner together along the perimeter of the anchor trench and using specialized wands to detect leaks so they can be sealed quickly. For this project we supplied and installed just over 40,041ft² (3,720m²) of single sided textured HDPE geomembrane and 20,027ft² (1,860m²) of geocomposite and geotextile. A new spirituality centre in located in Alberta’s wilderness, required a firewater pond to safeguard against wildfires. It was critical that this pond be leakproof. In response to this, Titan provided a robust design which included a double-layer HDPE geomembrane system with geocomposite in between.

Revitalizing the North

This summer we took on a significant soil contamination remediation challenge in the North West Territories that presented unique logistical challenges. Our team got innovative by using local barges for material delivery to efficiently supply and install 129,166ft² (12,000m²) of HDPE geomembrane liner and 43,055ft² (4,000m²) of geocomposite for enhanced containment. This creative technique not only managed logistical restrictions but also displayed our commitment to environmentally responsible solutions while managing the obstacles of a remote site.
