In 2025, Averitt evaluated its Scope 3 emissions for the first time. We conducted a screening of the 15 Scope 3 categories according to the GHG Protocol to identify those that are material to Averitt. The screening determined that Categories 1-7 and 9 are material to Averitt while Categories 8 and 10-15 are not. The Averitt CSR Steering Committee reviewed the results and decided to perform its first partial Scope 3 inventory of emissions by starting with three material categories: Fuel, Business Travel, and Associate Commuting. The 2025 annual inventory of emissions for each was determined to be:

CATEGORY 7 Associate Commuting 15,463 MT CO 2 e
