SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth Averitt employs around 7,700 associates and pays at least 248% above the federal minimum wage, with an average total workforce hourly wage of $35.02 in 2025, and distributes 20% of company profits to associates through auto-enrolled 401(k)s. SDG 13 – Climate Action Averitt reduced Scope 1 emissions by 22.8% between 2022 and 2025 (from 553,880 to 427,338 MT CO₂e) and cut total fuel consumption by 24.7%, driven by renewable diesel adoption, fleet-wide efficiency investments, and alternative fuels for all material handling equipment. We reduced Scope 2 emissions 25.8% since 2023 and 13% of our electricity was renewable in 2025. Averitt completed its first Scope 3 emissions screening and inventoried fuel/energy activities, business travel, and associate commuting.
