Training

course completed by the wider Technical Manager team. First aid training added four new qualified first aiders to our sites, and with every permanent employee holding a personal training budget, this year saw colleagues complete an essential 3D Modelling certificate and enrol on an ADR certificate course.

Our training matrix continues to guide learning across corporate, sales and technical teams, covering health & safety, operations, industry guidance, compliance, cyber security, and environment and sustainability, each role assigned relevant training at the right frequency, whether that's a one-off, annual, or three-yearly requirement. 2025 brought some notable additions. Every new Technical Manager received extensive onboarding, including HQ-based technical training and onsite shadowing, alongside a one-day public speaking

Volunteering

charities, schools and community groups, including children's clubs, homeless hostels and refuges, helping ensure it reaches people who need it most.

Garland UK contributed 108 hours of volunteering with FareShare South West in 2025, supporting the redistribution of surplus food to communities most in need. FareShare South West rescues food that would otherwise go to waste and channels it to
