Day 1 Depart from your home and travel to Stranraer for our overnight stay at the North West Castle Hotel. Day 2 This morning we connect with our ferry, sailing from Cairnryan in the afternoon to Belfast. After crossing, we continue by coach to the Ramada Belfast City Centre hotel. Day 3 Today we head south to visit the Queens official residence of Northern Ireland Hillsborough Castle and Gardens. We will enjoy a guided tour of the castle with our guide sharing details about the historical rooms, before exploring the gardens. This afternoon we make the short journey to Lisburn where we will visit the Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum. A guide will be on hand to show us around exhibits detailing the heritage of this area with a particular focus on the importance of the linen industry to this region. Day 4 Today is free day for you to explore Belfast at leisure, a modern and vibrant city with a fascinating heritage. There is lots of choices of places to visit including the Botanical Gardens, Titanic Belfast Ulster Museum and much more. Day 5 This morning we head north driving along picturesque coastline to Glenarm Castle & Gardens, where you will have a chance to explore the fine walled gardens. The garden is filled with exciting flowers and specimen plants adding great colour to this charming setting. On the way back to the hotel we will make a stop in the town of Ballymena. Day 6 We leave the hotel after breakfast and return to the port to catch the sailing back to the mainland. Where we retrace our steps to Stranraer for our overnight stay at the North West Castle Hotel. Day 7 We depart our overnight hotel and head for home with fond memories of Northern Ireland.
