Our Year 12 Economics students were taken on a trip to explore the rich history of the City of London. In the morning, they visited the Bank of England where they visited the museum and had the opportunity to pick up a real gold bar before having a talk and watching some films about the work of the bank in the cinema there. In the afternoon they had a guided tour of the City of London which helped the students gain a better understanding of the City's importance and how it has served as a financial hub for centuries.
