THE

2000 ft Mighty climb

TOP OF THE WORLD Ben Whitelaw (2H), Matthew Sanchez (2H), Jonny Whitelaw (RA) and Theo Sanchez (RA) successfully climbed Ingleborough mountain in Yorkshire during the Easter holidays. They discovered a cave on the way up and found snow and ice when they reached the summit at 2000 ft. They enjoyed a much deserved fish and chip dinner after their climb. The pictures show Jonny and Theo eating chocolate, at the top and Matthew and Ben striding ahead in a bid to be the first up. Well done boys! Thanks to Mrs Sanchez for the story ABORIGINAL ORIGINAL Year 2 enjoyed a fabulous Inspire Session producing brilliant pieces of Aboriginal artwork. Parents and children got really creative with their designs to show off their understanding of Aboriginal art. Different colours were used to make wonderful patterns. Parents and children reported: “A very enjoyable and well planned session!” “Very pleased with the end product. Looks brilliant!” “A lovely session! We enjoyed having the

chance of being creative together.” Thanks to Mr Hayat for the story.
