Mission and Vision CareGiver Training Institute’s vision and mission is to transform lives through healthcare education, and to be the leader in Healthcare Education by elevating standards in training, inspiring excellence in our students and positively impacting the community.
The CareGiver Training Institute Industry Partner Program is an avenue for community care providers and students to connect. The program allows students and community care providers to interact and learn more about one another. It creates an opportunity for successful employment for both students and community care providers. The program allows high visibility for partnership between a company and CGTI/PCOA. Finally, participating in the program allows for furthering a company’s investment in providing high quality care to Southern Arizona. We’re currently strengthening our community connection with Industry Partners Arizona Homestead, Bayada Home Health, Catalina In-Home Care, Elder Care & More, Heritage Oaks Assisted Living, The Villas at Wilmot, Elder Care & More and The Oasis at El Corral Assisted Living. Nearly 60% of hearing loss is due to avoidable causes. Approximately 26 million of adults aged 20-69 have suffered permanent damage to their hearing from excessive exposure to noise. For those who suffer from hearing loss in Pima County, there are resources available such as Adult Loss Of Hearing Association (ALOHA). ALOHA is a non-profit organization that provides education, advocacy, and support to adults living with hearing loss.
