“ DESTINATION University of Lancashire to study Biomedical Sciences Isabelle joined Preston College from Penwortham Girls’ High School. Preston College was her first choice because of the hands-on learning opportunities and industry placements available, giving her valuable experience of the workplace. When I started the course two years ago, I thought I wanted to pursue a career in neurology. However, my plans have changed, and I am now planning to progress into a science-related career. My industry placement experiences highlighted the variety of roles and opportunities available within healthcare. This helped me reflect on my future career path and develop a greater understanding of the important role science plays in healthcare.”
