This series of monthly workshops will help new secondary coordinators navigate the tasks associated with their new role. Each coordinator will have an opportunity to review the AVID Center general data, CCI, systems of AVID, and managing the AVID College Readiness System. This training series is highly recommended for all new AVID secondary site coordinators. Workshop 1

This workshop is intended for administrators and AVID coordinators from sites reapplying for National Demonstration Status during the 2023-2024 school year. Participants will become familiar with the guidelines for the application process. Expectations and materials for tutorials, Focused Note-Taking, critical reading and schoolwide AVID, will also be reviewed.
