This training is for new AVID elective teachers that were not able to attend Summer Institute or Ignite. To participate in this training, participants must register on MyAVID.org using their MyAVID account. This is the first of three trainings for AVID Elective teachers through AVID Center. Participants will learn the basic tenets of running an AVID Elective class including organization tools, tutorials, Focused Note-taking, and classroom culture.

This series of workshops is for new and second year AVID Elective teachers. This monthly training will focus on the main components of the AVID elective including: Focused Note-Taking, organization, tutorials, and team-building. Prerequisite: Must have attended Implementing Level 1. Workshop 1
